The Studer S36 is a CNC external cylindrical production grinder engineered for high-volume OD grinding of shaft-type and cylindrical workpieces. Built on a Granitan S103 mineral-cast base and equipped with a powerful grinding spindle and modern CNC control, the S36 delivers excellent dimensional stability, surface finish and repeatable grinding performance.
With a center height of 225 mm and 650 mm between centers, the Studer S36 is ideal for automotive components, hydraulic shafts and other cylindrical parts that require stable, efficient grinding over long production runs. A large 610 mm grinding wheel, fixed wheelhead and optimized coolant delivery support aggressive stock removal while maintaining tight tolerances.
